IntelliTrans to Open Arkansas Office

September 15, 2004 – IntelliTrans, LLC of Atlanta, which provides logistics services for shippers, will hire up to 20 employees for a new office in Conway, Arkansas, according to company and state and local economic development officials.

The company said it has already begun hiring some workers for the Conway location.

"The combination of breadth and depth of personnel educated in the field of logistics, a strong work ethic, and a stable workforce made Conway a logical choice for expansion of our operations," Steve Jackson, IntelliTrans COO, said.

Founded in 1992, IntelliTrans provides supply chain management customers a single system to integrate transportation and inventory needs with the goal of increasing productivity and reducing costs.

The company provides several services for shippers, including multi-modal fleet management, yard management and vendor-managed inventory programs.  Other services are available for infrastructure operators such as short-line railroads, repair shops, warehouses and transload facilities.
